Exterior Ideas

I love love love this house, designed by Jack Arnold. It is a beautiful marriage of timelessness, European influence and simplicity. Just about takes my breath away when I imagine decorating the interior of such a home... Hopefully, with some time, I may be given the opportunity to unleash all of the design ideas I have circulating around in my head.... After our baby comes home!

House Mode

As a means of distraction from our pending adoption, I am attempting to avert my attention to house mode. In all honesty it's not working all that well but I'm giving it a shot none the less. We have had our lot for just under two years and although we imagined we'd have begun building by this point, that isn't how it has turned out. So with that said we have had an abundance of time for research and study and have finally settled on a builder - Jeff Horwath Family Builders - whom specializes in building classic custom homes. Below are two homes whose exterior asthetic we love along with the interior layout. We plan on customizing our home to adequately accomodiate our lifestyle so we may tweek the plans a bit, but these are great starting points for what is to come...eventually.

I think that I may be in love. As we await our referral for twins I have been in super search mode for suitable sleeping arrangements for them. We are in the early stages of transitioning homes and our current abode, although relatively spacious, is slowing becoming cramped as we add to the family. With that said, space is limited and these Alma Mini cribs seem too good to be true! Not only are they significantly smaller than a standard-sized crib, but they also fold for storage when not in use - All without compromising sturdiness or style! Not to mention that they are uber cool to look at with their sleek lines and bold yet refined color choices. Now it's time to read reviews and do some measuring!
