House Mode

As a means of distraction from our pending adoption, I am attempting to avert my attention to house mode. In all honesty it's not working all that well but I'm giving it a shot none the less. We have had our lot for just under two years and although we imagined we'd have begun building by this point, that isn't how it has turned out. So with that said we have had an abundance of time for research and study and have finally settled on a builder - Jeff Horwath Family Builders - whom specializes in building classic custom homes. Below are two homes whose exterior asthetic we love along with the interior layout. We plan on customizing our home to adequately accomodiate our lifestyle so we may tweek the plans a bit, but these are great starting points for what is to come...eventually.

  1. J-Love them both, but I think I like the Cambridge a little more, a little more unique

  2. yep, i vote option 2 as well. (not that my vote matters.:) laundry upstairs is a must for me. and i like the outside of option 2 a little better. however, both are gorgeous options!

  3. I love them both! I don't know how you're going to choose! My family built a house four years ago and it was quite an experience! You don't think of all the little things that need to be done (like buying door knobs)!
